Youth Summit

Join us at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon on May 26 for the Youth Summit. Hosted as part of the Saskatchewan First Nations Natural Resource Centre of Excellence Saskatchewan Energy & Natural Resource Forum, our Youth Summit brings together Indigenous youth from all 74 First Nations in Saskatchewan for a powerful day of learning, inspiration, and opportunity.

The Youth Summit is designed to honour culture while building future leaders.Participants explore the deep connection between Treaty rights, traditional knowledge, and the responsible development of energy and natural resources across Saskatchewan. Through keynote speakers, interactive workshops, tradeshow engagement, and career exploration opportunities, youth gain a stronger understanding of how their cultural history and Inherent rights are directly connected to shaping the energy and resource future in Saskatchewan.

THE DAY BRIDGES:

  • Culture and innovation
  • Land stewardship and economic opportunity
  • Tradition and technology
  • Community values and industry leadership

Youth leave with a clearer vision of how they can pursue careers in energy, resources, environment, trades, governance, and emerging technologies while upholding the values of their Nations.
