The SAP GUI front end is widely used by SAP users when they logon to SAP systems (ECC or SAP S/4HANA). These users have access to confidential or sensitive data, and some have elevated access after they logon. Challenge: Challenge: Energinet needed assistance with implementing a newly introduced budget and forecasting process to align with a new economic regulation decided by the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities. SAP Analytics Cloud Planning was selected as the tool to implement this new process and fundamental change in the financial management of the company. Energinet had introduced a completely new way of creating a base-budget, setting an overall financial framework that included a more detailed forecast to be implemented in a modern planning tool. This framework and process should be aligned among the various companies within Energinet, with further detailed breakdowns in the forecasting process. Finally, a guided process was to be implemented in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning to enable Financial Business Partners to request additional resources beyond their allocated budgets.

Solution: Innologic assisted in implementing Energinet’s new budget and forecast solution, supporting their ongoing modernization efforts.
