Code of Conduct

Terra Dotta brings together a community of professionals from around the world to network, learn and share ideas and is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming, professional, harassment-free event experience for everyone regardless of regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, and any other status protected by laws in which the event is being held.  We do not tolerate harassment or violence in any form. All participants, including attendees, organizers, speakers, trainers, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, and event staff are expected to behave in accordance with professional standards, applicable laws, and to their respective employer's policies governing appropriate workplace behavior.  Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Conference participants violating these rules may be expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Copyright

Materials may not be reproduced without obtaining prior permission.  Knowingly violating copyright or copying presenter information without obtaining permission is a violation of the conference rules.

Photography / Videography Release

By participating in the conference, you enter an area where photography and/or videography will occur.  By entering the event, you consent to such recording media and its release, publications, and exhibition without expectation of compensation and you agree to release Terra Dotta, its successors, assigns and contractors from any liability and/or obligation whatsoever of any nature.

Health Safety

If you are not feeling well, please take appropriate precautions to ensure you are not contagious and contact the conference organizer (see cancellation policy) if you are unable to attend due to illness. 

Attendee Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

Attendee assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that attendee may experience or incur in connection with attending the event, including but not limited to, pre-conference events and off-site events.  Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless Terra Dotta and its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

The conference registration fee is fully refundable up to 60 days prior to the first day of the event (September 13, 2024). 50% of the registration fee is refundable up to 31 days prior to the first day of the event (October 11, 2024). Refunds are not available for cancellations made within 30 days of the event date.  Please contact Events Manager Mary-Margaret Armstrong at MM@MeetingAdvantage.com regarding cancellations and/or refunds.
