Terra Dotta Study Abroad 101: Mastering the Essentials in Your Terra Dotta Toolkit [BEGINNER]
Full Day - 9:00am-4:45pm - Monday, October 6
New to Terra Dotta for Study Abroad? Get ready for a hands-on workshop that will set you up for success! In this full-day workshop, we’ll dive into the essentials—helping you master everything from managing applications and creating engaging program brochures to building dynamic content, managing administrative user access, and running insightful reports. Whether you've just inherited an existing site or recently went live as a new customer and want a refresher, this workshop has everything you need to hit the ground running and maintain all facets of your system!
This workshop will cover the foundations for the following:
• Using Application Finder to Process Applications
• Creating and Editing Programs using Program Wizard
• Managing Content and Deployment Rules
• User Management Essentials
• Creating Reports via Analytics

The TDU Visa: For International Educators Seeking Basic Knowledge of Terra Dotta ISSS Student [BEGINNER]
Half Day - 1:15pm-4:45pm - Monday October 6
Are you an international educator looking to build a foundational understanding of Terra Dotta ISSS Student? This workshop is your gateway to navigating the system with confidence. Designed for professionals who are new to Terra Dotta or need a refresher on the basics, “The TDU Visa” offers a guided overview of key features, terminology, and essential workflows within the ISSS Student solution.
Participants will learn how to:
• Create Student Profiles
• Process Initial Attendance I-20s via Batch & Post to RTI
• Navigate & Utilizing the Batch Manager
• Process Common Requests like OPT & CPT
• Create Basic Queries & Reports Using Analytics
Whether you're stepping into the system for the first time or brushing up on the basics, this workshop will provide the practical skills and context you need to support international students effectively and confidently.
Facilitated by Jane Auge (ISSS Customer Enablement Specialist) and Kendra Zysk (ISSS Implementation Engineer).
Console Conquerors: Taking Your Work to the Next Level [INTERMEDIATE]
Half Day - 1:15pm-4:45pm - Monday October 6
Elevate your Terra Dotta expertise and unlock the full potential of the Admin Console. This session dives into time-saving tools, hidden features, and proven best practices to help you manage your site with greater efficiency. Ideal for users ready to go from capable to truly confident.
This workshop is aimed at customers who are already using the following functionality: Application Finder, Program Finder, and Deployment Rules. A baseline understanding of Analytics and Application Triggers is also recommended. Introductory training is not provided in this workshop.
We'll dive into the following:
• Tackling Application Organization
• Auditing Site Settings for Correct Configuration
• Decluttering Deployment Rules for better performance
• Streamlining Processes with Analytics

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP
You can add a pre-conference workshop onto your registration for TDU.
We expect that you will remain in a single workshop for the entire pre-conference workshop day. Only one workshop purchase per person is allowed. The full day workshop includes lunch. Half-day workshops do not include lunch.
