Who is The iCenter?
The iCenter is the North American hub for advancing the field of Israel education. We believe education is key to inspiring generations of Jewish youth with an enduring connection to Israel and the Jewish people.

What is iCON?
iCON: Where Israel and Education Meet is our biennial convening of the field—an opportunity to engage with leading-edge thinking in the field of Israel education, explore the newest frameworks for integrating Israel into Jewish learning experiences, and network with a diverse crowd of practitioners and leaders in the field.

As our schedule develops, we’ll be adding updates and information. Keep checking back for more information.

Who will be attending iCON?
Everyone is welcome at iCON!

Whether you are a Jewish communal professional, day school educator, camp professional, youth group leader, lay leader, etc...or interested in Israel and learning more about the field, there will be something for you.

We encourage you to bring colleagues in your field to come experience iCON together!

** Please note, iCON capacity is limited and we anticipate high demand from the field. Please register as soon as possible to guarantee your space and avoid being waitlisted. **

When is iCON 2023?
iCON will begin on Monday, March 13 at 2pm, and will conclude on Wednesday, March 15 at 3pm

The iCenter has arranged a travel discount code with United Airlines to help save on travel costs. Click here to use code ZMU5697574. For more information, click here.

How much does iCON cost and what is included in the price of registration?

The full registration price is $750.

  • September 12 - November 30 – $650  *Early Bird*
  • December 1 - March 12 – $750

Registration fees includes all meals (Monday lunch and dinner; Tuesday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Wednesday breakfast and lunch). All meals are Glatt Kosher.

** Please note, you are responsible for booking your own travel and hotel accommodations. **

Are there scholarships available?
The cost to create and produce this experience far exceeds the fees charged. Registration costs have already been subsidized through the generosity of our funders.

If additional support is needed to attend iCON 2023, local federations and other organizations that support professional development are potential resources. Please contact Dan Tatar with any questions.

I’d like my employer to pay for my participation in iCON as a professional development experience. How can I convince them of the importance of my participation?
Please click here to download a letter that explains what iCON is, the hours of professional development credits offered, and why you need to be there!

Please email Ari Feinstein for help with invoicing.

How do I book my hotel room?
You can book your hotel room through our room block here. Rooms are $196/night plus tax. All hotel reservations are your responsibility, and should be made directly with Marriott Marquis Chicago McCormick Place.

Will the food at iCON be kosher? What about other dietary preferences?
All meals will be Glatt Kosher, under the supervision of the Chicago Rabbinical Council.

Additionally, other special dietary restrictions (e.g., Cholov Yisrael, gluten free, vegan, specific food allergies, etc.) may be provided during registration.

I have unique needs (learning, mobility, dietary, other). How can I inform you of them?
Please let us know while registering. We are committed to providing a positive and meaningful experience for everyone at iCON, so please help us help you.

Will there be a mobile app?
Absolutely! About one month before iCON, we’ll send registered participants a link to download the iCON 2023 app, which will be available in your preferred app store.

Within the app, you’ll be able to customize your schedule, see who else will be attending, and begin networking with participants even before you arrive in Chicago!

What are the COVID-19 policies at iCON 2023?
As iCON gets closer, we’ll provide an updated COVID-19 policy that reflects current best practices and protocols.

Above all else, the health and safety of our community is most important.

What if I have more questions?
We’d be happy to answer them! Please get in touch by calling (847) 418-8336 or emailing Ari Feinstein.
