Niki Sharma was elected MLA for Vancouver-Hastings in 2020 and previously served as the deputy caucus chair and parliamentary secretary for Community Development and Non-Profits.

Niki is a lawyer whose practice focused on representing Indigenous people, including residential school survivors. Niki has worked across B.C. as an advocate on climate policy and reconciliation. She has also been recognized for her work on combatting racism.

Niki was elected to the board of Vancity Credit Union where she served as vice-chair and chaired the Climate Justice Working Group. She also served as chair of the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation. In these roles, she worked to improve her community and make life better for people and our planet.

In 2017, Niki worked as a senior ministerial assistant helping to deliver more child care spaces for B.C. families.

Niki was raised in Sparwood, B.C. A mother of two, she has lived in East Vancouver for more than 15 years and has deep connections in the community.

Rimpy Sadhra is the current president of the BCNA.  She was commissioned as a BC Notary Public in 2011 and is an owner of West Coast Notaries along with her spouse, Raman Sadhra. 

Rimpy has always had a passion for education. She has been developing curriculum and teaching through the Society of Notaries Public for the last 9 years and for 3 years with the BCNA. 

Currently she is a facilitator and examiner for the conveyancing course in the Notary Education Program.

Rimpy enjoys spending time with her two children and husband cycling, travelling, cooking and listening to music. 

Chad Rintoul is the Chief Executive Officer of the British Columbia Notaries Association, the organization which represents the interests of Notary Public from across British Columbia.

Chad is a graduate of the University of Windsor, and the University of Western Ontario. He was previously the Chief Administrative Officer of the Association of BC Land Surveyors, the regulator governing the practice of Land Surveying in British Columbia. He has served on the Victoria Airport Authority Board of Directors from 2007 – 2013, where he was Chairman of Planning and Development, and from 2013 – 2018 as a Board member and President of the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association, and Director of the Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association.

In addition to his role with the BCNA, Chad is elected to municipal Council for the Town of Sidney, and a member of the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia Stakeholder Advisory Committee. He also volunteers as a member of the Appeal Committee for BC Hockey.

Larry Blaschuk is Registrar of Land Titles at the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA), responsible for ensuring the integrity of records in the land title register. 
 
Larry joined the LTSA in 2008 from private practice as a solicitor and as corporate counsel with one of BC’s leading registration service providers. He has extensive real estate and corporate/commercial practice experience serving both commercial and residential clients throughout his career.  

Outside of the LTSA, Larry is active in the community, coaching track and field since 2006 and attending the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games and numerous World Athletics Championship with his athletes.  

Larry obtained his LL.B. / J.D. from the University of British Columbia. 

Peter Bjurman was commissioned in 2014 and has a notary practice in North Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler with a focus on real estate.  Peter obtained his law degree from beautiful Birmingham England in 2008 and accredited into BC in 2009.  He worked for his old man (lawyer) for many years before making the only choice of becoming a Notary.   

Jennifer Codlin earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2013. She also obtained her Addictions Careworker Diploma from McMaster simultaneously. Jennifer began her career as a School Social Worker for the Provincial and Demonstration School Branch in Ontario and transitioned to Internet Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (iCBT) after about seven years. In 2022, she moved to British Columbia to help raise her niece. She has since been working as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) practitioner for Kii, providing support in a virtual and telephonic capacity while also developing her private practice as a Mental Health Therapist.

Prior to her career in the clinical services sector, Jennifer worked as a Human Resources Generalist for an international engineering consulting firm, where she specialized in health and safety, payroll and benefits, and wellness initiatives. She has extensive experience in creating and delivering corporate and youth-focused workshops and enjoys engaging with her audiences.

Currently, Jennifer is training to become a Somatic EMDR Practitioner and is eager to incorporate this into her private practice soon. She continues to support individuals facing mental health challenges, difficult life transitions, grief and loss, childhood emotional neglect, and other traumatic experiences. Her focus is on helping clients build a compassionate and loving relationship with themselves. Jennifer utilizes an eclectic approach, drawing on the best practices from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused therapy, Somatics, and more, tailored to her clients' requests and needs. She is licensed to practice as a Registered Social Worker in Ontario and British Columbia.

Quang Duong is a partner at the law firm of MacKenzie Fujisawa.  Quang is a litigator with considerable experience in professional liability and administrative law matters, real estate, wills and estates and commercial litigation.  Quang brings his broad experience and client-centred approach to help clients achieve optimal results.  He is committed to providing clients with excellent legal services by combining strategic thinking, thorough legal analysis and a down-to-earth demeanor.

Quang received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and his law degree from the University of Manitoba.  He clerked at the Tax Court of Canada and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2007.  Outside of work, Quang enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and sports.

Tim Lack is a Vancouver solicitor with 30 years’ experience, primarily in the area of private lending. He is a frequent speaker for lawyers, paralegals, brokers, and now notaries, on this subject.

Terry Sidhu has been a Notary for almost 20 years. Until recently he was the owner of Sidhu & Associates, a full service Notary Firm that focused primarily on providing Legal solutions in the Real Estate field.  Assisting clients with subdivisions was a part of the services offered by the Notary firm.  With over 40,000 conveyance transactions completed since the firm’s inception, Terry combined this and his past experience has a Realtor / Mortgage specialist to take on ownership of multiple other Real estate companies including a Property Management Company and Owning a Mortgage Investment Company (MIC) called AP Capital with $260M in Assets under Management.

Maureen Miller, Master Certified Coach (MCC), brings 25+ years of business experience and 5000+ hours of Coaching experience to coaching leaders and professionals in the not-for-profit, for-profit and government sectors. This coaching was via one on one, group and team coaching. She currently facilitates regularly for KII offering well-being webinars.

Maureen is an Executive Coach and received her coaching training through CoachU, holds a Bachelor of Education through the University of Calgary, and is completing her Bachelor of Art majoring in Psychology. 

Maureen has Coached leaders and professionals within local police force agencies, in city services, healthcare, and offers Coaching through two Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), to name a few. She is also a Fellow Coach with the world-renowned company BetterUp. She currently coaches through several on-line coaching platforms.

Maureen creates a safe place for her clients to explore:

Prior to becoming a Coach, Maureen worked in the Oil & Gas industry as a Project Manager (managing suppliers) and has also worked in the Accounting, Public Relations & Communications, Organizational Development, Training, and Curriculum Development business functions. Maureen was also a teacher for 9 years.

Maureen is very active in supporting the Coaching community as a:

• faculty member for University of Texas where she does credential assessments
• Credentialing Assessor for the International Coach Federation (ICF) (through this experience she is highly versed in the ICF Core Competencies and the ICF Code of Ethics)

Maureen served on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations. She performs leadership and board development workshops and represents these groups through public speaking engagements. Maureen is currently on a committee called the Patient Care Network of British Columbia, Canada. This group is engaged in making sweeping changes in patient care.

In addition, as part of an annual public education initiative Maureen wrote, directed and edited a television show called Chance for Change which was aired on the local television (CRTV).

Marny Morin is a Notary Public and Program Manager for the BC Notaries Captive Insurance Co. Marny is also the Secretary of the Society of Notaries Public of B.C

Matthew Morin was commissioned as a Notary in 2020.  He currently works for the B.C. Notaries Captive Insurance Company.  He also assists Quang Duong in providing legal advice to notaries   

Jessica Vandenberghe, P.Eng., FEC, FGC (Hon) is from the Dene Thá First Nation and a sixties scoop survivor and was raised in an inclusive German farming family in rural Alberta. She holds two engineering degrees from the University of Alberta. She has worked in the oil sands, regulatory, infrastructure, consulting industries and academia. She is the Assistant Dean, Community and Culture with the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Victoria and owner of Guiding Star Consulting. She is a mother and at the intersection of two equity deserving groups in the STEM fields, which drives her passion for equity, diversity and inclusion along with Truth and Reconciliation. She believes that we can walk together respectfully to heal, rebuild trust, and be changemakers and allies

Geoffrey White has 25+ years of expertise in Will, Estate and Trust matters.  He assists clients both at his “heritage” office in Kelowna and as counsel with Clark Wilson LLP in downtown Vancouver. He is recognized by “Best Lawyers in Canada” for his work in estate law.  

In addition to his active estate law practice, he is also an editor of BC’s “Probate & Estate Administration Practice Manual” for lawyers, which is acknowledged as the primary source for all estate matters in the province. Geoff has litigated estate and trust matters at all levels of court including the BC Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada. These matters include: discretionary trusts, multiple wills, removal of an executor, and international conflict of laws. Clark Wilson has been recognized as a finalist for the “Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year (midsize firm)” in the worldwide STEP Private Client awards.
