    Niki Sharma was elected MLA for Vancouver-Hastings in 2020 and previously served as the deputy caucus chair and parliamentary secretary for Community Development and Non-Profits.

    Niki is a lawyer whose practice focused on representing Indigenous people, including residential school survivors. Niki has worked across B.C. as an advocate on climate policy and reconciliation. She has also been recognized for her work on combatting racism.

    Niki was elected to the board of Vancity Credit Union where she served as vice-chair and chaired the Climate Justice Working Group. She also served as chair of the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation. In these roles, she worked to improve her community and make life better for people and our planet.

    In 2017, Niki worked as a senior ministerial assistant helping to deliver more child care spaces for B.C. families.

    Niki was raised in Sparwood, B.C. A mother of two, she has lived in East Vancouver for more than 15 years and has deep connections in the community.

    Rimpy Sadhra is the current president of the BCNA.  She was commissioned as a BC Notary Public in 2011 and is an owner of West Coast Notaries along with her spouse, Raman Sadhra. 

    Rimpy has always had a passion for education. She has been developing curriculum and teaching through the Society of Notaries Public for the last 9 years and for 3 years with the BCNA. 

    Currently she is a facilitator and examiner for the conveyancing course in the Notary Education Program.

    Chad Rintoul is the Chief Executive Officer of the British Columbia Notaries Association, the organization which represents the interests of Notary Public from across British Columbia.

    Chad is a graduate of the University of Windsor, and the University of Western Ontario. He was previously the Chief Administrative Officer of the Association of BC Land Surveyors, the regulator governing the practice of Land Surveying in British Columbia. He has served on the Victoria Airport Authority Board of Directors from 2007 – 2013, where he was Chairman of Planning and Development, and from 2013 – 2018 as a Board member and President of the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association, and Director of the Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association.

    In addition to his role with the BCNA, Chad is elected to municipal Council for the Town of Sidney, and a member of the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia Stakeholder Advisory Committee. He also volunteers as a member of the Appeal Committee for BC Hockey.

    Larry Blaschuk is Registrar of Land Titles at the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA), responsible for ensuring the integrity of records in the land title register. 
     
    Larry joined the LTSA in 2008 from private practice as a solicitor and as corporate counsel with one of BC’s leading registration service providers. He has extensive real estate and corporate/commercial practice experience serving both commercial and residential clients throughout his career.  

    Outside of the LTSA, Larry is active in the community, coaching track and field since 2006 and attending the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games and numerous World Athletics Championship with his athletes.  

    Larry obtained his LL.B. / J.D. from the University of British Columbia.

    Jennifer Codlin earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2013. She also obtained her Addictions Careworker Diploma from McMaster simultaneously. Jennifer began her career as a School Social Worker for the Provincial and Demonstration School Branch in Ontario and transitioned to Internet Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (iCBT) after about seven years. In 2022, she moved to British Columbia to help raise her niece. She has since been working as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) practitioner for Kii, providing support in a virtual and telephonic capacity while also developing her private practice as a Mental Health Therapist.

     

    Prior to her career in the clinical services sector, Jennifer worked as a Human Resources Generalist for an international engineering consulting firm, where she specialized in health and safety, payroll and benefits, and wellness initiatives. She has extensive experience in creating and delivering corporate and youth-focused workshops and enjoys engaging with her audiences.

     

    Currently, Jennifer is training to become a Somatic EMDR Practitioner and is eager to incorporate this into her private practice soon. She continues to support individuals facing mental health challenges, difficult life transitions, grief and loss, childhood emotional neglect, and other traumatic experiences. Her focus is on helping clients build a compassionate and loving relationship with themselves. Jennifer utilizes an eclectic approach, drawing on the best practices from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused therapy, Somatics, and more, tailored to her clients' requests and needs.
