He Joined Anatomage in 2009 as the first sales representative and was eventually appointed director of sales responsible for all global activities. During this time he lectured around the country regarding cone beam CT and guided surgery. Charles later Joined BIOMET 31 for several years before moving to Oregon to take over Ceramics West Dental Lab along with his wife Esther. Charles was a recipient of the 2020 Academy of Osseointegration Student Foundation Award for his case study on scanning anterior Implants and In 2021 was named one of the top 40 lab technicians In the country under the age of 40 by LMT Magazine. Charles has published numerous articles In Implant Practice and

Implant Tribune and Is a denturist candidate for the boards.

Nexco Made Simple: Hands-On Workshop

This hands-on course, led by Stephanie Yeats, offers an in-depth exploration of how to elevate denture

work using SR Nexco Gingival Composite. It is suitable for both analog and digital dentures. Stain kits can

be overwhelming and costly; in this course, Stephanie demonstrates how using a limited selection of

stains and pastes can help participants quickly and efficiently enhance their dentures.

Stephanie brings more than thirty years of extensive experience to the patients and students of her practice. She began her career in 1988 as a crown and bridge technician in Devon, England, where she was born and raised. In 1991, she joined a dental laboratory that specialized in prosthetics and casting, where her passion for dentures first began.

To further her education, in 1989 Stephanie enrolled at the Dental School at Cardiff University in Wales, graduating in 1993 with a National Diploma in Science (Dental Technology). Her dedication to her studies was recognized when she received a grant from The Prince of Wales Business Trust for Young Entrepreneurs.

Following graduation, Stephanie established her own laboratory, "The Tooth Fairy," at just twenty-one years old which she ran and operated until she moved to Canada to pursue greater business opportunities in 2004.

In 2008, she became certified as a Licensed Dental Technician (LDT), which allowed her to pursue further education and professional qualifications. She later earned her Licensed Denturist (LD) license.

Stephanie is one of only four technical instructors in Canada certified to teach SEMCD (Lower Suction Denture). She has trained technicians, dentists, and denturists across North America in these specialized techniques. In addition, she is a certified instructor in Ivoclar's Bio functional Prosthetic System (BPS) and currently serves on the executive committee of the Denturist Association of British Columbia.

Dacia Richmond & Andrea Snow

Andrea Snow is the Complaints Director for three health professional colleges in Alberta, including the College of Alberta Denturists, where she has served in this capacity for over three years. Since relocating from Vancouver, B.C. to the Edmonton Metropolitan Region in 2002, Andrea has been driven by a passion for administrative justice. With extensive experience in leadership roles across both public and private sectors, she has focused on upholding professional standards and ethics and is widely recognized for her commitment to fairness and equity.

In addition to her current role in complaints management, Andrea serves as the Chair on a subdivision and development appeal board and is a director on the Foundation of Administration Justice Board.

Dacia Richmond is the Executive Director & Registrar with the College of Alberta Denturists. After having worked clinically in nuclear medicine, Dacia made the move to professional regulation in 2011 gaining experience in different roles and settings before joining denturists in 2019. Dacia is also currently completing graduate school at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan. In her decreasing spare time, Dacia spends time with friends and family and loves to read and travel.

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly moving from theory to day-to-day reality in healthcare clinics — including denturist practices. This one-hour continuing education session will explore how modern AI tools can support more accurate patient charting, improve after-hours patient communication, and reduce the administrative load on practitioners and staff.

Presented by Dean Fenwick, founder of DOMx and long-time practice-management advisor to denturists across Canada, this session will focus on practical, real-world applications of AI rather than technical theory. Attendees will see how AI-assisted clinical documentation can transform casual chairside or post-appointment dictation into properly structured, professional SOAP notes — improving consistency, clarity, and record quality.

The presentation will also examine the growing role of AI-based phone attendance, including how AI assistants can responsibly handle missed calls, after-hours inquiries, appointment requests, and basic triage — reducing reliance on voicemail while maintaining professionalism and patient confidence.

Special attention will be given to privacy considerations, consent, data residency, and professional accountability, with discussion tailored to the Canadian and BC regulatory environment.

This session is designed to inform, not overwhelm — helping denturists understand what is possible today, what is coming next, and how to evaluate AI tools responsibly for their own clinics.

• Understand how AI-assisted charting works and how spoken, informal clinical notes can be converted into structured SOAP documentation.
• Identify practical use cases where AI can reduce charting time while improving clarity and consistency in patient records.

Dr Cheryl E Cable is an internationally recognized leader and influencer in the field of head and neck cancer and maxillofacial prosthodontics. She is joining us at Covenant Health to be the Lead of Oral & Maxillofacial Care & Research. She will be working primarily at the MCH.

She completed her undergraduate BSc and DDS degrees at the University of Alberta, received her Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics certifications at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and her MBA from the Haskayne School of Business in Calgary, Alberta as well as at the University of Alberta.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Cheryl and her husband Kelly prioritize being actively involved in their four children’s school and extracurricular activities.

Devaughn has worked in the health industry for 24 years - 20 of which specifically as a technician, or in the capacity of Director of Highland Dental Lab.

Seeing, and anticipating the morphing dental landscape, modernization began at Highland 18 years ago with the acquisition of their first in-house milling unit. Years later, the lab is truly state of the art with multiple scanners, mills, various design software and 3 printers.

Not to be overshadowed by equipment, Devaughn has received advanced design certificates from Dentsply Sirona, Vita and beyond. Further, he is numbered amongst a lucky few that are ‘Global inLab Trainers’ certified in Germany, and is also software, hardware and materials beta tester. He is also a certified CEREC Mentor. Further, he shares his passion through the written word regularly through many notable dental publications.

Michael Green, originally from a coastal town in Nova Scotia, deeply values mental health support, having grown up in a resource-limited environment. His diverse career has taken him across provinces and industries, from hospitality and sales to social enterprise and advocacy. Currently, he serves as the Client Relations Specialist at the Canadian Mental Health Association Alberta Division and Centre for Suicide Prevention focusing on mental health programs and trainings for workplaces.
