The Iowa Recycling and Solid Waste Management Conference is the largest show in Iowa of its type and is a joint effort between the Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations and the Iowa Recycling Association. Where do I park and is there a charge for parking?
For guests staying at the hotel, parking is complimentary in the parking garage. If you are not staying at the hotel, parking will be a maximum of $10 per day to park in the parking garage.
How many CEU's are available at this conference?
Pending DNR approval, 11 hours of CEUs are currently available.

How do I nominate someone for an industry award?
Join us in honoring the industry's best! Nominate a facility, project, program, associate or employee in the waste or recycling industry that you feel deserves recognition. Awardees will be selected by the Iowa Recycling Association and the Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations and will be honored for their contributions to the industry at the Iowa Recycling & Solid Waste Management Conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Exhibtitor FAQs
When can I move my display and tear down?
Set up for displays begins at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning and you can tear down after the live auction Tuesday evening or wait until Wednesday morning.
What about large equipment?
Large equipment requires a double booth and a $100 fee per vehicle. Large equipment needs to be in the Exhibit Hall Sunday. Large equipment can enter through the overhead door which is 232.8" H x 240" W.
Where do I ship containers to?
If you need freight handling services for the conference, please ship packages to:
1220 Capital Drive SW Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 (BUILDING #4). Attention “Troy Albaugh”. Also, please send an email to Office@RandDEvents.com, notifying them of your shipment. Please provide the name of your company booth and address for billing.

Customers may start shipping items 3 weeks prior to the show date.

All packages and freight must be pre-paid. Customers must supply the UPS or Fedex account information and the address to be able to ship the packages back to the required destination. R &D Events is responsible to organize and transport your packages to the venue and back. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges.)

Rates for freight handling: Freight and packages will be $0.85 per pound, with a minimum of the first 200 lbs. ($170.00 min.) Please have the weights of your packages available for pre-payment with R & D Events prior to any shipments.
