The Denturist Association of Canada: DACnet and Canadian Dental Care Plan Fee Grid

Session 1: Canadian Dental Care Plan – An Overview

This specialized session is crafted exclusively for denturists, providing a detailed exploration of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Denturists will gain an in-depth understanding of the plan, including comprehensive insights into what is covered and what is not. The session will intricately navigate the nuances of the CDCP, ensuring denturists are well-versed in the plan's intricacies.

Denturists will delve into the specifics of coverage, uncovering the breadth of services provided by the CDCP. Equally important, the session will highlight areas that fall outside the scope of the plan, ensuring denturists are fully aware of limitations and can communicate effectively with their patients.

The ins and outs of the CDCP will be thoroughly discussed, empowering denturists with the knowledge needed to seamlessly integrate their services within the framework of the plan. This session is designed to equip denturists with the essential information, addressing the "needs to know" aspects that are critical for navigating the CDCP and providing optimal care to their patients.

Session 2: Q&A with The DAC Executive Director

This engaging session is designed as a personalized Q&A opportunity for denturists, facilitated by The Denturist Association of Canada (The DAC's) Executive Director.  Denturists and their staff are encouraged to bring forward their daily frustrations and burning questions related to DACnet, Fee Guide, general insurance, and front-end operations.

The format of this session is an open dialogue where denturists and their staff can seek solutions and insights directly from The DAC. Attendees are urged to bring specific examples from their professional experiences, allowing for a collaborative exploration of real-world scenarios. The session aims to address the challenges denturists encounter in their daily practices and provide practical guidance.

To enhance the interactive nature of the session, denturists are also encouraged to submit their questions in advance to Mallory Potter at dacdenturist@bellnet.ca. This ensures that the session is tailored to the specific concerns of the participants, maximizing the value of the Q&A and fostering a supportive environment for knowledge exchange and problem-solving.
