Jhmeid Billingslea, CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL, CST, CMRP, HACP-IC, is a recognized subject matter expert in Surgical Services, combining decades of experience in both the Operating Room and Sterile Processing. A former Navy Surgical Technologist and Certified First Assistant, he has served in leadership roles including Director of Surgical Services Support, Surgical Technology Program Manager, and Ambulatory Surgery Coordinator. He has delivered over 80 presentations across 31 states, authored numerous articles, and contributed to 14 HSPA certification exam committees. Jhmeid’s evidence-based leadership has united multidisciplinary teams and earned him accolades such as Georgia’s Supply Chain Executive of the Year.

Amanda Birkhead joined Censis as the Vice President, Product and Marketing in December 2024 from her previous role as Vice President Marketing at Industrial Scientific, another Fortive operating company. Amanda has 20 years of experience in marketing, product management, and strategy roles. She is passionate about creating value for customers, delivering innovative product roadmaps, and driving digital transformation. Amanda has an MBA and Bachelor of Science from Washington University in St. Louis.

As a program coordinator Rory was focused on developing and implementing methods of tracking testing and quality control within CensiTrac, to include easy to access and use daily water tests in compliance with ST-108.

Lindsay brings nearly 15 years of dedicated experience in sterile processing to her current role. Starting her career as a Sterile Processing Technician, she quickly advanced through various leadership positions, including Lead SPD Technician, SPD Supervisor, and SPD Manager. In August 2024, Lindsay joined Censis Technologies as a Clinical Educator, where she continues to leverage her extensive expertise. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida State College Jacksonville and her professional development is enhanced by a LEAN Six Sigma Certification and CRCST and CIS certifications, which underscores her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in her field.
I have over 12 years of federal service in sterile processing. I’ve advanced from Medical Supply Technician to Lead, Acting Supervisor, and now Censitrac Coordinator, a role I’ve held for six years. As a subject matter expert and award-winning coordinator, I’ve led efforts to improve data accuracy, compliance, and staff development. Hope Byer-Everd, BSN, RN, LNC, is a Clinical Education Consultant for Advanced Sterilization Products, where she provides clinical support and training in high-level disinfection and sterilization systems. Over the last two years she has been published in EndoPro Magazine twice on the hot topics of current issues in endoscope reprocessing and the future of endoscope reprocessing. She has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, beginning her career in Emergency and Trauma Medicine, where she held TNCC certification. She later transitioned to surgical and procedural care, spending 15 years in the operating room and perioperative settings, including five years as Director of Surgical Services.
In her leadership role, Hope supported evidence-based nursing practices across OR and peri-anesthesia departments, while also serving as a Risk Manager and Infection Prevention Nurse. She is skilled in fostering collaboration between OR, peri-anesthesia, sterile processing, and endoscopy teams to drive quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and staff safety. Hope is an active member of her local SGNA and APIC chapters and remains committed to advancing best practices in infection prevention and surgical care.
Brandi Guest is a Security Operations Engineer and Marine Corps veteran with extensive experience across cybersecurity operations, compliance, and executive advisory. Proven track record in managing incident response, BCDR planning, risk management, and regulatory frameworks including HiTRUST, SOX, and CMMC. She is skilled in leading cross-functional teams, mentoring peers, and translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. She has secret clearance with hands-on expertise in secure network architecture, threat intelligence, and continuous security improvement in both DoD and enterprise environments, and is passionate about cybersecurity education and empowering others through knowledge sharing.
Sam worked in the sterile processing field prior to joining Censis in 2013 where he worked with the implementations team working up to an implementation manger. He then moved over to the clinical services team working as a clinical educator and delivering advanced training to existing CensiTrac customers. He currently works as a senior clinical educator and works with clients to optimize their CensiTrac usage.
Tamara Heacock is the System Director of Sterile Processing at Lee Health. Her career spans roles as a surgical technologist, intraoperative monitoring technologist, perioperative business manager, and SPD manager. She holds certifications including CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL, CST, and CMRP, and earned her MBA in 2020. Heacock serves on the Florida Intercoastal Reprocessing Educators board, the AAMI Standards Workgroup, and advisory boards for ASP, Beyond Clean, and Surgio. She has presented at multiple HSPA national and chapter meetings, as well as the Censis Technologies Users Conference, and contributed as a subject matter expert for the HSPA CHL exam.
Carolyn (Carol) began her career in the Navy as an OR technician. She transitioned to a management role in SPD after 20 years and never looked back. Her SPD career covers three hospitals over a twenty-year period. Her passion is elevating the role of the SPD technician and communicating the incredible importance of this specific skill in healthcare. Educating the next generation in the use of SPD software is a great honor.
MJ is the Head of Clinical Operations & Services for Pegasys Medical, a cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence company in the Perioperative space. Pegasys Medical is a company within the Infection Prevention Group of Fortive Corporation (NYSE: FTV).
Before devoting her work fulltime to Pegasys Medical, MJ spent 32 years in the Operating Room as a Scrub & Circulating RN. MJ has held a variety of healthcare senior leadership roles including Regional CNO, Corporate Perioperative Director, Patient Safety Officer and senior level consultancy positions across the healthcare continuum. MJ is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is passionate about leveraging technology to help make healthcare safer and to enhance staff experience & retention.
Seamus Johnson started with Censis as a software developer in June of 2003. In 2017 lead the software development team as the director of application development. Since 2022 Seamus has been leading the R&D innovation team at Censis helping to launch new products like the CensisAI2 platform and Censis Copilot.
Jacob began his healthcare career at Censis as an implementation specialist in 2018. During his time with Censis, Jacob has taken part in a diverse range of Censis projects including implementations, instrument marking, data optimization, product development, Censis Service+ trainings, and leads sales support, strategy and development. These experiences have helped him develop intimate understandings of sterile processing and Censis solutions while providing consistent customer interactions to learn from. Jacob has presented at CtUC, HPSA, and Beyond Clean and served in the United States Marine Corps as an avionics technician and Quality Assurance inspector before earning a B.S. in Biology at Texas State University. Jacob currently holds a CCSVP certification through HPSA and an International Master Tutor certification through CLRA.
Sheena Moore joined Censis in July 2024 from her previous role as Vice President and General Manager of Landauer, another Fortive operating company. She has over 20 years of leadership in sales, marketing, product, and general management. Sheena excels in delivering growth through a customer-focused approach and adept application of the Fortive Business System. Prior to joining Fortive, Sheena spent several years at Danaher and Idex Corporation.
Sheena holds an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
Janet Moran, RN, MBA, CNOR, is a Senior Clinical Education with Advanced Sterilization Products, a Fortive Company.Janet has over 19 years of experience in the operating room. She has held roles as a staff nurse, educator, clinical coordinator for othopedics and operating room manager. Janet has partnered closely with sterile processing in these roles.
Janet’s current role aligns her directly with sterile processing supporting education as well as pre and post-sale consultation for sterilization and high-level disinfection.
Janet has presented regionally and nationally on topics related to infection prevention. She currently sits on the board for the Association of PeriOperative Nurses Orange County and is a member of HSPA, SGNA, APIC.

Bobby Parker serves as VP of Clinical Solutions at Beyond Clean, and is an experienced educator and consultant in the Sterile Processing Industry. He holds all four HSPA certifications (CRCST, CIS, CHL, CER) for Sterile Processing and brings more than 12 years’ experience in the field. In addition to Bobby's experience as a Sterile Processing leader, he has contributed as a speaker, host, and facilitator at Sterile Processing conferences and webinars internationally. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Bobby discovered sterile processing while pursuing his education in ministry, and he has found that his passion for teaching and service in ministry is perfectly aligned with the role of supporting safe surgical care.
Beth is a Business Intelligence and Analytics Engineer with Censis Technologies. Since 2012, she has enjoyed building and supporting tray tracking software programs critical to Sterile Processing teams across the United States. Beth has 18 years of experience exploring databases and designing data visualizations. As a member of Censis’ Innovation team, she helped design and build the initial release of the CensisAI2 data platform.

Dr. Ivan Salgo
Ivan S. Salgo, M.D., M.S., M.B.A. is Vice President, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP). He is responsible for organizing, generating, and communicating evidence on the processes of Sterilization and Disinfection. He is keenly interested in providing a holistic picture on fortifying the need to understand and prevent Hospital Associated Infection and elevating the standard of care.
Dr. Salgo has been involved in Healthcare Analytics in assessing patient deterioration using multiple digital biomarkers. He has been co-investigator of an NIH Biomedical Research Partnership on cardiac surgical image guided intervention and Pediatric Aortic Valve Repair with Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining Philips, he was director of the Intraoperative Echocardiography Program and worked as a cardiac anesthesiologist and cardiac surgery intensivist at the University of Pennsylvania.
Ivan received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. He received his M.D. degree with Distinction in Research from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He did his residency and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, where he later joined the faculty. He also received his M.B.A. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management in 2012.
Pronitha Shankarananda joined Censis as VP of Professional Services in June 2024. She has been with Danaher (Fortive) since 2015 and has held various roles in Product Management, Strategy, Product Marketing, M&A, and Business Unit Management. She was the core team member who started and scaled IIoT and software business at her previous stints in Fluke and Industrial Scientific. Prior to Fortive, she led the sales team for the professional lighting product line at Philips India. Pronitha brings a wealth of commercial experience and a proven track record of delivering significant growth for businesses, enhancing customer experience, driving innovation and building exceptional teams.
Pronitha holds Bachelor's in Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka; MBA from University of Delhi and a Master of Science in Management Studies from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
Hannah Shipp has been with Censis since April 2018, initially starting on the Service Desk and advancing to manage the support team. She specialized in training customers and new hires on Censis’s suite of products and has extensive experience with supporting on-site implementations of CensiTrac at new facilities.
In 2021, she transitioned to the Product/R&D team as a Product Owner, where she worked with her development team to most notably deliver impactful updates to ScopeTrac Advanced in support of compliance with ST-91 standards, as well as addressing features to improve LoanerLink and CensisAI2.
Hannah is now moving into a product trainer role for Censis, working to train employees across the company on SPD practices and processes, CensiTrac, ScopeTrac Advanced, LoanerLink, and CensisAI2.
Jill Sweeney has 10 years of experience working in the perioperative environment as an SPD tech, SPD coordinator, scrub tech and in endo/GI. She has worked for Censis Technologies since 2020 in several roles such as Implementation Specialist, Clinical Trainer, Clinical Educator and most recently Senior Clinical Educator.
Joe graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2015, and started with Censis in March 2017 as a Data Analyst then was quickly promoted to Client Manager after a few months helping with the Order and Help Desks. He fully transitioned to the Government department in January 2019 upon its creation and has been with the government team ever since. Joe has performed numerous site visits and provided countless educational training webinars to VA customers of all levels. He prides himself on being an expert CensiTrac user, providing high-quality support, and helping the VHA network to standardize practices.
With 16 years of dedicated experience in sterile processing, Amy has established themselves as a highly skilled and reliable manager in the field. Their expertise spans the full spectrum of sterile processing operations, with specialized experience supporting ASCs. Notably, Amy played a key role in the successful opening and operational launch of a new ASC, ensuring compliance with rigorous safety and sterilization standards.
