    Jeff is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business. A serial entrepreneur, he started delivering newspapers at 12. His first business, filming homes for insurance, was launched at age 16 and featured on the front page of the business section of The Montreal Gazette. After university, Jeff worked at Hartco (TSX: HTC) during a period where sales grew from $200 million to over $750 million. Jeff co-founded several networks of medical aesthetic partnerships, including Victoria Park, with over 20 locations in Canada, Cosmetic Physician Partners with over 50 locations in the US, and recently, Cosmetic Physician Partners Europe.

    Jeff is an Ironman finisher and works with several charitable organizations. The environment became his priority after watching The Inconvenient Truth in 2006 and understanding that all our efforts to improve the world would be for naught if we did not protect the world itself. He helped launch the David Suzuki Foundation’s Quebec operations in 2008. In 2021, he worked with JNF Canada to create the Climate Solutions Prize to support breakthrough research to solve the climate crisis.     Benjamin joined New Energy Finance in 2006 to develop and lead the Venture Capital and Private Equity research team in the early days of the fast-growing company. In January 2008, Benjamin was assigned to establish and lead the New Energy Finance(NEF) customer service department.   Bloomberg acquired NEF in 2009, and the firm has since expanded its scope to cover more expansively the transformation of our world to a low-carbon economy, including energy, transportation, industry, nature and agriculture. 


    Before joining BloombergNEF, Benjamin was a strategic consultant at Nestle SA subsidiary CPW, focusing on the optimisation of resources. Before Nestle, he was a part of the integration M&A team at Axa Group and senior analyst at Switzerland-based Asset Manager, Alasia Investment SA.
    Benjamin was awarded a BA HEC Montreal in International Business and an MA in Economics and Management from HEC Lausanne Business School.

In 2009, he was named the young international leader of Quebec by the Arista organisation. Simon served on several boards of directors, including Aqua Action, C2 Montreal, the Canadian Wind Energy Association, and the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montréal.
