What is the Crab Trap? The Crab Trap is an annual pitch competition that is held on the second day of the BioHealth Capital Region Forum on September 18th, 2024. It's designed to spotlight emerging companies within the biohealth industry. Each year, five finalists are selected to present their innovative solutions to a panel of expert judges. The competition highlights entrepreneurs with commercially relevant diagnostics, medical devices, therapeutics, and other transformative health solutions. Winners are awarded cash prizes and/or Clinical Research Organization (CRO) services to accelerate their growth and development.
