ABOUT THE BCNA NOTARY STUDENT CAREER FAIR 2026

We would like to formally invite you to participate in the 2026 BCNA Virtual Notary Student Career Fair, on February 21st, 10.00AM – 12.00PM via zoom.

The Annual BCNA Notary Student Career Fair connects Notary students with commissioned Notaries looking for staff Notaries, to partner with a Notary, or to sell their practice. It is also an excellent opportunity to meet the current cohorts of Notary students and introduce them to a portion of our current membership of Practicing Notaries.

The event will comprise of 3 parts: 

PART 1: ONBOARDING - STAFF NOTARY

Daniel Boisvert will provide an overview of the notary onboarding process, outlining key considerations, best practices, and common challenges. While the session introduces the essential steps involved in onboarding a notary, its primary focus is to help notary students better understand the role, benefits, and opportunities of working as a staff notary within an organization. The session is designed to support informed career decision-making and will conclude with time for questions and discussion.

PART 2: STUDENT NOTARIES INTRODUCTIONS TO THE WIDER AUDIENCE

Please note: For STUDENT NOTARIES registering for this event, as part of the registration process you will select one or more of the following options. 

• I would like to Partner with a Practicing Notary 
• I would like to become a Staff Notary
• I would like to open my own Practice

All Student Notaries will be given up to 2 minutes to introduce themselves to those in attendance. 

After you have selected the options that apply to you, you will then be given the following option; to have your contact information and selections advertised on the BCNA Notice Board, featured on the BCNA Members Website. Please note your information will not be private and be visible to the all of the BCNA Membership.  Prospective Practicing Notaries will be able to view this and reach out to you in advance of the day.  

Please note, all Student Notaries have complimentary BCNA Membership. 

PART 2: PRACTICING NOTARIES INTRODUCTIONS TO THE WIDER AUDIENCE

Please note: For PRACTICING NOTARIES registering for this event, as part of the registration process you will select one or more of the following options. 

•  I would like to Partner with a New Notary
• I would like to hire a Staff Notary
• I would like to Sell my Practice now or in the future 

After you have selected the options that apply to you, you will also be asked if you would like to have your contact information and selections advertised on the BCNA Notice Board, featured on the BCNA Members Website. Prospective Notary Students will be able to view this and reach out to you in advance of the day. 

Please note, by registering for the event, Practicing Notaries will be called upon to speak during the virtual event (2 minutes) to address the wider group with what they are looking for. E.g. Partner with a New Notary; Hire a Staff Notary; or Sell your Practice.
