Are travel and hotel accommodations included?
No. Attendees are responsible for making and paying for their own travel and hotel arrangements. These expenses are not included in the registration fee. Participants are encouraged to make their reservations early and select travel plans that allow them to attend the full workshop.
Which airport should I use, and how do I get to the venue?
Attendees traveling by air should consider Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), approximately 18 miles from the hotel. The hotel does not provide airport shuttle service, so attendees must arrange and pay for their own transportation.
Transportation options include taxi, rideshare, rental car, or MARTA. The MARTA Gold Line serves both the Airport and Lenox stations, and the Lenox station is located near the hotel. Travel times may vary, particularly during peak traffic periods, so attendees should plan accordingly.

The workshop will focus on the Sixth Edition Standards, with particular attention to most commonly cited standards. Participants will receive practical guidance on applying the Standards, application preparation, and preparing for a site visit.
Will the workshop be recorded?
No. The workshop will not be recorded, and a recording will not be made available following the event. Attendees are prohibited from making audio or video recordings or using AI-powered transcription, note-taking, or recording tools during workshop sessions.
What if I am unable to attend this workshop?
The next scheduled Accreditation & You Workshop will be held in spring 2028. Additional information will be shared when registration for that event becomes available.
What weather should I expect in Atlanta?
Atlanta weather in early March can be variable, with cool mornings and evenings and generally mild afternoons. Rain is also possible. Check the local forecast before traveling and consider bringing layers, a light jacket, and an umbrella.
Meeting-room temperatures can vary, so participants are encouraged to bring a light sweater or jacket for comfort during workshop sessions.
What should I bring? How do I access event materials?
Participants may want to bring a laptop or tablet to access workshop materials and take notes. Power cords will be available throughout the room. Additional information about materials or advance preparation will be provided to registered participants before the event.
Event materials and information will be posted on the Event App. Please visit the Event App page for additional information.
