This session will bring together C-suite leaders from the nation’s major airlines for a forward-looking conversation about the current state—and future—of the aviation industry. Designed with the Black aerospace community in mind, the discussion will go beyond the flight deck to explore innovation, workforce development, strategic growth, and how professionals of color can shape the industry’s future.

This presentation will raise crucial awareness about sickle cell disease in aviation, covering the symptoms of sickle cell and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. We'll emphasize recognizing pain crises and understanding daily challenges. We'll then discuss why sickle cell poses red flags for the FAA Medical department. The core of our mission involves sharing the personal journeys of Privileged Pilots' brand owners, Daniel Cressy and Kyle Registre. We will recount how they overcame sickle cell to pursue aviation careers, becoming pioneers who challenged FAA protocols. Finally, we'll explain how our experiences led to Privileged Pilots, a brand dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for those with sickle cell in aviation.
