National Provider Enrollment Conference (NPEC) Agenda
 

The 2026 National Provider Enrollment Conference (NPEC) is a two-day, in-person event designed for both new and seasoned enrollment professionals. There is no need to register for individual classes. Attendees can attend a live session or visit the contractor booths during the designated times outlined below.

Class Location: All classes are hosted in Exhibit Hall CD (use the escalators to access the first floor of the conference center)
Contractor Booth Location: Contractor tables located in the lobby in front of Exhibit Hall CD
Provider Reception: Hosted on the Coquina Lawn (weather permitting) located a short distance from Exhibit Hall CD

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Completion certificates containing CEUs for the event will be made available within 5 – 10 business days after the event. The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) accepts CEUs for CMS and Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) sponsored events at a rate of one CEU per hour. Other licensing or accrediting organizations may or may not accept CMS/MAC events for CEU credit. Please check with your licensing or accrediting organization for specific CEU eligibility and documentation requirements.

This session provides a concise, practical overview of CMS' enforcement tools and the real consequences providers face when Medicare enrollment requirements aren't met. The session walks through common reasons for denials, deactivations, and revocations, required reporting of adverse legal actions, and the impact of being placed on the Preclusion List. Also, hear directly from CMS on new and proposed regulations that impact provider enrollment.
