The Global Carbon Pricing Challenge (GCPC) is a partnership of jurisdictions committed to carbon pricing, supported by key international organizations, through which expertise can be shared and received. The GCPC has a collective goal of covering 60% of global emissions with carbon pricing by 2030. Through the GCPC network, collaboration can flourish on an international scale, as Partners and Friends come together to share best practices for effective carbon pricing. The Challenge is a leader-driven initiative that sets concrete targets for carbon pricing coverage to drive action and greater ambition.
