The 2026 Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i Annual Day of Service – Hosted by Hawai‘i Permanente Medical Group will take place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day — Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. This cherished tradition continues our commitment to service, cultural health, and community connection.

Our continuing theme, Ho‘oku‘ikahi, calls us to come together as one — united in purpose, compassion, and service. In health care, unity is at the heart of healing: the trust between patient and provider, the collaboration among care teams, and the shared understanding that the health of our people and the health of our ‘āina are deeply connected. When we act with unity and aloha, we strengthen not only individual well-being, but the collective health of our entire community.

You’re invited to join this 1,000-volunteer initiative across Hawai‘i to support local partners dedicated to ahupua‘a restoration and community well-being through hands-on projects that bring aloha to life.

Our service locations remain the same in 2026:

Space is limited — especially for several popular sites — so please register early. Family and friends are welcome to join as guests, and children may participate with supervision. Please see below for registration instructions. To learn more about the event, service locations, and activities, visit KPHIAnnualDayofService.org. New difficulty ratings make it easy to find an activity that fits your comfort level before signing up.

Let’s come together once again to care for our communities, honor Dr. King’s legacy, and live out Ho‘oku‘ikahi. We look forward to seeing you there!

Registration will be based on a first-come, first-served basis, as most sites have capacity limits. Please be aware that activities are subject to change pending the number of registrants and weather.
