*All Day*
Whether you’re new to the role or have not had the opportunity to attend in the past, the New Fieldmen Orientation is an excellent introduction to the Agricultural Fieldmen profession. The course is also a requirement for those seeking Certified Agricultural Fieldmen status.
Participants will receive an overview of the key Acts and legislation administered by Alberta Agriculture and Agricultural Fieldmen and, review legislative requirements, and gain practical insight into the responsibilities of the position. Through discussions and real-world examples, attendees will experience “a day in the life” of an Agricultural Fieldman and develop a better understanding of the important role they play within their municipalities.
