Exploring Analog Cast Frames vs. 3D Metal Printing: Dive into the fascinating world of metal  as we compare analog cast frames with cutting-edge 3D metal printing.

Designing Metal Frames: Discover insights into the design and creation of durable, high-performance metal frames and will talk about "Equipoise"

Tips & Tricks for Denture Processing: Learn practical techniques for processing a partial denture with a frame and metal-reinforced denture without the need for the traditional flasking and packing methods!

Showcasing the Fuzion Denture Impression Technique: If time allows, I’ll present the innovative Fuzion Denture Impression Technique—a method developed by Luke and myself that combines the reference denture approach with SEMCD impressions.

Growing up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, I was eager to spend time with my father at his family business. At 13 years old, I graduated from plaster bench work to set up bench. After attending George Brown College, I returned to Thunder Bay to work in the laboratory. In 1999, I purchased the lab and operated it until I moved out west. Working in multiple clinics, I gained many years of experience with implant supported dentures. Eventually, my path led me to True North Denture and Implant with Luke, where I moved from analog to digital workflows. I have since created workflows for every aspect of denture manufacturing in the clinic lab, including a special workflow to use the Ivoclar Ecosystem to do partials without articulator and flasks (commonly referred to as Paul's Technique). Recently, I have been providing in-house training and lectures to various colleagues in the field, sharing both digital and analog workflows has been extremely rewarding!

Bringing awareness to the escalating profile of oral and oropharyngeal cancers related to a common virus? According to the CDC, nearly all sexually active adults will have a HPV (Human papillomavirus) infection in their lifetime. This is fueling an escalating rise in the incidence of HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancer. What are the implications to dental profession and how should our oral cancer screening be adjusted to compensate for this new profile? How do we communicate this to today’s dental patient? High risk extraoral and intraoral anatomical areas will be reviewed as well as identifying the subtle life-saving signs that accompany oral and oropharyngeal cancer that are so often overlooked.
