How the FSR Interfaces with the Judicial Process
The Family Support Registry (FSR) is known for processing payments. The FSR’s role begins before the first payment is made on an FSR account. Behind the scenes work needs to be completed before an account is ready to process payments. The interface between the court and FSR begins as soon as a child or maintenance support order is entered. Specific processes have to be followed for IVD and NIVD accounts. This session will cover the relationship between the FSR and the courts and how we work together. After this session, you will know why the FSR was created, the process to create an account, the differences between IVD and NIVD accounts, and how they transition when an application is received for CSS services and when the case closes.

In this interactive workshop, we create a space to normalize triggers and explore how they shape our responses. By taking ownership of our triggers, we gain the power to respond rather than react—strengthening our ability to serve others while maintaining our own well-being.
