    Dr Binfon is currently the Chief Nursing Consultant of Elaka Nursing, Medical and Allied Health Consulting. Prior to joining the consulting firm she worked as the Interprofessional Educator at Kaiser Permanente, Mid-Atlantic States, overseeing radiology and nursing education for 39 locations as well as their patient safety, quality and compliance initiatives, where she developed an interprofessional mentorship program. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente she served the Nurse Educator for the Cardiovascular Institute of Detrioit Medical Center. Her work experience also includes full time faculty with Kaplan University School of Nursing, Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist, working as nurse in MICU, SICU, trauma, cardio-thoracic, surgical, neuro and cardiovascular.

    Dr Dorr has 30 years of clinical experience at nationally recognized medical centers working on numerous interdisciplinary teams in critical care, ambulatory and academic settings. Clinical areas included Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Cardiology/Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Pediatric Sedation as a nurse, clinical educator and nurse practitioner. Significant participation in and contributions to several national organziations including the Scoeity of Pediatric Sedation (SPS) and the National Association of Peditatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). Chairperson for the Education Committee for NAPNAP for six years and working with the Nursing Education Committee as well as an active Board of Directors Member of SPS. Recent presentation include Co-presenter: "Development of Sedation Nursing Competencies". Society of Pediatric Sedation Nataional Conference, Septer 2021 and Poster Presentation: Dexmedetomidine as a Primary Sedative Agent used by a Nurse Practitioner Led Sedation Team.     Mayra Garcia is a doctorally prepared Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has been a CNS in general pediatrics/pediatric surgery since 2014. Her work has been disseminated at national/local conferences and published in peer reviewed journals. She has been named to the DFW Great 100 Nurses, D Magazine Nurse Excellence Award Winner, Children's Health Advance Practice Education and Advocacy Award Winner, recipient of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) 40 under 40 Award and the NAHN Ildaura Muillo-Rhode Award for Education Excellence Award. In the last 5 years she has published 5 journal articals, 2 book chapters and 1 professional blog.     Dr Nichols is a nurse practitioner currently licensed in Florida and Georgia. She is also a Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion and Vascular Access Board Certified. She is currently serving as President for the Infusion Nurses Society through 2024. Her professional contributions include active work within professional nursing organizations, particularly the Infusion Nurses Society, as well as several publications. She is a national speaker on the use of ultrasound and microintroducer technique for adult and pediatric PICC placement procedures. Other national speaking engagments include iron transfusion therapy. Career roles include acute care, primary care, occupational healthcare, as well as incorporating patient education, nursing education and outcomes monitoring related to infustion therapy. This includes the launch of an on-line continuing education program titled, Chest Radiograph Assessment and Central Vascular Access Devices. She attend the University of North Florida and completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2017.

    Dr Peterson is a triple board certified pediatric anesthesiologist and Harvard trained pain medicine physician with an expertise in pediatric chronic pain. She is the Director of Chronic Pain and an assistant professor of Anesthesiology, Pain and PerioperativeMedicin at Children's National Hospital/George Washington University. As a physician she serves children who have acute and/or chronic pain. As a faculty member, Dr Peterson plays an active role in medical student, resident and fellow eduation. She has been interviewed by Clinical Pain Advisor August 2019 about pediatric pain medicine and featured in the July 2018 Houstonia Kid's Health ediction magazine providing advice to parents on opioid use postoperatively. Dr Peterson serves a multiple local and national committees to enhance pain education and improve the safety of opioid use and prescribing.

    Teresa Reyburn-Orne is a certified Acute and Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in pediatric pain management in the inpatient setting. She currently serves as the Associate Director Pain Services and Advanced Practice for the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia at the University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology. In her role she is responsible for co-managing and developing a comprehensive Pain Service with the Pain Service Medical Director and Associate Director of Pain Services Psychologist. She serves as the manager of APPs in Pain, Cardiac and Pre-Operative Anesthesia Clinic Services. She also mentors the APPs and anesthesia residents and fellows and develops nursing education related to pain throughout the Childrens Hospital Colorado system. She has several publications and presentations on pediatric pain management and pain management modalities locally, nationally and internationally.
