CARBON MARKETS IN TRANSITION: POLICY, INVESTMENT, AND SCALE
The IETA Asia Climate Summit is returning 7-9 July 2026 - and for the first time, it’s coming to Hong Kong!
At a pivotal moment for carbon markets across Asia, ACS 2026 will convene policymakers, investors, and market leaders to explore how carbon markets, climate policy, and investment are evolving – and what comes next.
Organised by IETA and co-hosted by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB), Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC), and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), the Summit hosted at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will deliver high-impact discussion, practical insight, and forward-looking perspectives from across the region and beyond.
KEY DISCUSSIONS
Over three days of dialogue, expect in-depth conversations on:
- CBAM and its implications for Asian economies and trade
- CORSIA and the future of aviation decarbonisation
- Article 6 and cross-border market integration
- Carbon pricing and taxation across the region
- High-integrity voluntary carbon markets at scale
- Digital infrastructure powering transparent, efficient markets
With Asia’s carbon landscape evolving rapidly, ACS 2026 will be a defining moment to exchange views, challenge assumptions, and connect with the people shaping policy and investment decisions.
A LOOK BACK AT ACS2025
Last year’s Asia Climate Summit in Bangkok brought together leaders from across government, business, and finance for candid, high-level discussions on the future of carbon markets in the region.
