SCALING MARKET SOLUTIONS. POWERING PROGRESS & GROWTH

The Asia Climate Summit (ACS 2025) is the premier gathering for carbon market practitioners, policymakers, and sustainability leaders across the Asia Pacific. Organised by IETA, in collaboration with the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP), and officially hosted by the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand, ACS 2025 will take place 8–10 July in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together over 600 delegates from APAC and globally.

This year’s summit will explore pivotal regional developments, including the scaling up of Article 6 and its synergies with CORSIA, the scaling of climate finance to support transition efforts, and the evolving landscape of CBAM and compliance markets growth, particularly within asian economies like China, India and Indonesia. With the recent adoption of Article 6 rules at COP29 in Baku, the Summit will explore the scaling up of international markets and mobilisation of climate finance leading up to COP30 in Brazil.

Discussions will also delve into the role of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), including REDD+, blue carbon, and biochar, alongside advancements in Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDR), CCUS, and the role of cutting-edge AI and technology in driving scalable solutions. Finally, with a focus on expanding international carbon markets of high integrity, the Summit will address the future of independent crediting programmes, the role of harmonisation and regional developments in ASEAN to deliver carbon finance at scale.

With high-level plenaries, keynotes, and deep-dive sessions, ACS 2025 offers an unparalleled platform to network, gain insights into evolving policies, and shape the future of climate action in Asia-Pacific.
