The 2026 Annual Seminar will be Friday, November 20 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Johnston. Hear an update on U.S Supreme Court, State Case Law and other sessions relevant to municipal attorneys.
IMAA’s Annual Seminar is designed to provide 6.5 hours of continuing legal education for all attorneys in municipal practice.

New City Attorney Institute
IMAA offers a New City Attorney Institute the day preceding its Annual Seminar in even-numbered years. The next New City Attorney Institute will be Thursday, November 19, 2026. This training will run from 1-4:30 p.m.
IMAA has applied for 3.5 hours of credit toward the mandatory continuing legal education requirement under the Iowa rule.
