Overview

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is dedicated to supporting a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible environment for all of our conference attendees. We are happy to make reasonable accommodations at the conference so that everyone can fully enjoy and participate in the event.

Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) Services

We will provide CART services for all plenary sessions and keynote speeches. Please contact us if you need CART services during breakout sessions.

Sign Langugage Interpreters

Please contact us at dnr_cpwpartners@state.co.us or 720-215-2082 as soon as possible if you need a sign language interpreter or other means of effective communication. We have sign language interpreters on standby and will officially hire them if we get any requests for an interpreter.

Venue Accessibility

The common areas of Beaver Run Resort are ADA compliant. They have one fully ADA accessible room (32351) that has 36″ doorways and a roll-in shower. They have additional units that may accommodate a request and have equipment available for ADA requests, such as shower benches, tub transfer benches, etc. Please contact their Front Desk at 970-453-6000 for more information.

Conference organizers have requested that all table arrangements during the conference meet ADA standards for accessible routes. Please contact Shalana Gray at 720-215-2082 if you experience any issues during the conference.

Breakout Sessions

All speakers and breakout session facilitators will be provided with information and resources about creating accessible presentations. Please contact Shalana Gray at dnr_cpwpartners@state.co.us or 720-215-2082 if you would like session materials in advance and/or session materials in alternative formats such as large print or braille.

Decompression Spaces

Designated decompression spaces will be available at the venue. More details will be shared about this soon!
