Doctor Susoeff graduated from the University of Alberta Dental faculty in 2006.  He maintained the role of associate clinical professor within the University of Alberta removable Prosthodontic department for six years while developing his private implant practice.  Doctor Susoeff has been privileged to provide implant and surgical services to denturists across the province and together with his denturist partners has provided thousands of implant supported prosthetics.  His unique approach has facilitated comprehensive and successful collaboration amongst denturist and dental colleagues.

I will discuss the differences between handmade & digital methods used in creating RPD frameworks. Specifically, I will explore the advantages & disadvantages of using 3D printers, wax milling & titanium milling. Additionally, I will provide an explanation of complete dentures & other types of dental prostheses.

History of Denture Occlusion; Then and Now, Treatment Modalities and Outcomes for the Class II Client
This seminar will explore viable treatment plan outcomes for the Class II denture client. Whether the opposing dentition is completely edentulous, mixed or completely dentate, each will present with challenges in function and esthetics for the client and the practitioner. This seminar endeavors to explore the history and evolution of accepted denture occlusions as well as specifically highlighting the challenges of the class II denture occlusion. Additionally, practiced foundations of denture tooth arrangement will be presented, illustrated, and discussed.

Paul Karolidis BA,LD,RDT,DD
Paul has over 35 years of experience as a Registered Dental Technician and Denturist. He has been a professor at George Brown College since 1998 in both the Denturist and Dental Technology programs. As part of his tenure at George Brown College he was instrumental in delivering programming and instruction to Clinical Dental Technicians of the UK, ultimately, transitioning them to licensure and creating their own program, school and instruction. His passion for teaching and practising removable prosthodontics has led him share his journey and experience nationally and internationally on a variety of prosthodontic subjects. Additionally, Paul holds a Denturist license in the state of Maine and earned a BA in Gerontology at Laurentian University. He has owned and operated his own Denture Clinic and Dental Laboratory for over 25 years. Currently, Paul also is an elected member of the College of Denturists of Ontario.
