Is this one event or two events?

There are two events available; the 2023 Canadian Violence Link Conference and the 2023 Prosecution of Animal Abuse Conference. These events are part of Humane Canada's Criminal Justice System Reform Program (CJSR). The Violence Link Conference and Prosecution Conference take place together back to back, every 2 years. Each event requires registration and has its own set of qualifications.

What are the qualifications to attend these events?

Registration to the Prosecution of Animal Abuse Conference is only open to those who are:

  • A prosecutor in Canada interested in or currently prosecuting animal abuse cases, or
  • An allied professional working in any field involved in prosecuting crimes against animals, or
  • A student who is currently articling in Crown/Prosecution offices.

Registration for the Canadian Violence Link Conference is open to those whose work intersects with the Violence Link, such as law enforcement, social services, victim services, GBV/DV services, etc.

What is included in my registration?

Registration for the 2023 Canadian Violence Link Conference includes access to the sessions on November 8 & 9, as well as 30 days post event.

Registration for the 2023 Prosecution of Animal Abuse Conference includes access to the sessions on November 10, as well as 30 days post event.

Registration for the 2023 Canadian Violence Link & 2023 Prosecution of Animal Abuse Conference - Bundle include: access to the sessions on November 8, 9 & 10, as well as 30 days post event.

*All events take place online.

What is the cost?

Is there an opportunity to bundle tickets to save?

Yes! For those who qualify to attend both the 2023 Canadian Violence Link Conference & 2023 Prosecution of Animal Abuse Conference, we offer bundle tickets. This bundle is available via registration starting September 2023.
